Bocce Club St. Sava

Bocce Club Saint Sava was founded in 2005 by members of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bocce Ball is a traditional game played by Serbs all over the world but mainly in the so-called Tri-borders region where Dalmatia, Lika and Bosnia share borders.

clubprofile

Our members of course include Serbs from all parts of former Yugoslavia. Members of the club play bocce ball almost on a daily basis by the picnic pavilion or by the soccer field. Annual membership dues are $20. The Saint Sava Bocce Ball club travels to many tournaments held by other parishes throughout the United States and Canada. One major tournament is held annually in a previously selected city in either the United States or Canada. We have hosted many major tournaments as well. Proceeds from the tournaments are shared with our church. The bocce ball club has also made numerous monetary contributions to individual church members in need as well as non-profit organizations in Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia. Members of the club participate and assist in organizing and running other church events and the club donates money to the church.
